I just bought an 84 xtra cab (22r) with automatic hubs. The owner said one had trouble engaging and once engaged, had trouble dissengaging. I have an 88 v6 4runner as a parts truck for my daily driver. Will the manual hubs from the 88 work on the 84? I found the article on this site about swapping manuals in, but it didn't mention compatibility between years. (http://www.4x4wire.com/toyota/tech/autohub/) It says that an install kit consisting of some large nuts and washers is required. Would these parts already be on the 88 for me to reuse? Thanks.
