Did you use the 'pop cone' to put the boots on? If not, have you seen this done? After seeing how far those things will stretch without breaking...... I wouldn't be concerned if they looked a little taut. JMHO, I've only been running them for about a year and a half (no problems so far) with 1.5" of lift (not exactly stressing them much), so I'm not the best candidate for destructive testing.
