I only broke one, I did it in less than a 5 month period. I didn't notice it until I had blown a tierod. I don't beleive it was the tie rod that ripped the boot open. It was the stupidest tie rod break and getting back down was a sinch, so I doubt it, I just know I broke a mecatech boot.

I broke 4 of the other more stock like boots, so I suppose that is good for mecatech. Bottom line, I was tired of replacing boots altogether so I went solid axle and havent looked back.

Bottom line:
I think they are a great product and would definently run them on my IFS if I still had IFS.
