Ditto on the gauge pods and snorkels.

Maybe some kind of overhead console for a clean install of a cb (or whatever else).

I know they're already out there, and some folks find them cheesy, but hood scoops of various styles could be a good seller.

... We have two 110 ton plastic injection mold machines....The biggest the part can be is 7.5 ounces

220 tons, 220,000 lbs each of machines.....and the biggest part is 7.5 ounces?

I know nothing about the injection molding world, but I'd hate to think of how big the machine was that made my bumper....or worse, my injection molded kayak!

The kayak is probably roto-molded, Wayne.

Well, my dad used to work for Lego, back before they pulled out of the US, as an Injection mold tech...and I remember the machines to make those little pieces of plastic were huge...the die, was about 4x4x4, adn wieghed a "ton"(fgurativley)....

So..nothing constructive...

But, yeah, I like all of the above ideas, Over head CB console, adn snorkle most of all....

Snorkels weigh far more than 7.5 ounces. I have one. Get that weight changed and I would bet to wager the biggest selling part that you could make is cut-out flender flares. I would also agree with the A-pillar guage pods and snorkel. I believe that you can fab up an overhead console that would be under 7.5 ounces. I got wood mock ups somewhere in that bloody basement of mine. What about some sort of headlight and tail light protection. Covers for roller fairleads. That would definitely be under 7.5 ounces. new center consoles that can actually hold your favorite beverage. Ok, maybe your second favorite beverage. Never drink and drive. Tire covers for oversized tires with our club logo on it...........hmmh.

The machines to make the bumpers are like very big machines. I dont know if your kayak was machine molded, if so, it would be a reall incredible machine

How they work is a mold (big metal block that splits in half and have cavitys in them, my molds are about 2X2X2) The machine closes the mold, injects plastic at about 20,000 psi through a 3/16th hole, then through the gates to each cavity which are about 4,000th wide. Really incredible machines, the newer ones can clamp up to 2500 tons (the ones that make bumper) and you can put your finger in the mold and it will detect it before it smashes your finger (its called mold protect) The biggest mold ever makes the hood one a john deere tracker. When you look at something plastic, look at the mold and how it is made, look at the mold lines and try to figure out what the mold looks like, the ones with inner threads are amazing molds. Look inside your truck, you will be amazed on how much is actually made by these machines. [Linked Image]

this mold clamps at 1650 tons

K back to the subject. Not 7.5 ounces in weight, but amount. It has a 7.5 ounce barrel (where it melts) from there is goes into the mold. snorkels are too big (~20 ounces). We need somthing that we can make in the thousands. Dont we have tail light protection?

k them coming this is awsome.

oh yeah guys, i can make stuff it out of a soft rubber too.

1.Oversized mud flaps (for bigger tires) with raised isuzu logos or emblem!
2. Hood/fender gills!
3. Spark plug wire looms with isuzu logos or emblem!
4. Oil filler cap with raised isuzu logos or emblem!
5. Oil dip stick with isuzu emblem instead of that round boring end.
6. Upper timing belt cover with isuzu emblem in the center.
