Something I'd like to see, and there may be a large national market for this, is an exposed cone filter shield. Just a piece of plastic with a right angle that can be cut, trimmed, heat-manipulated, etc. to seal off the cone filter from the rest of the engine compartment. This would provide a semi-custom DIY job for lots of tinkerers.
