I'll put a spin on that last one. How about a cylindrical cover for cone filters where there will be a lip that the cone canbe installed on the inside, then closed and water tight ealed. Both ends (in & out) could be 2.5 to 3 inch. This would not only be extremely appreciated by us snorkel dudes but the general cone folks as well. If you did this for the general folks they can enclose that cone filter then run a hose to the outside for fresh cool air and not hot air blowing around the engine bay. Check out this link abd you'll know what I'm talking about. It's the first square formatted photo on the left. http://www.intenseperformance.com/products/products.html It would be great if you could make that because I absolutely positively will not buy from that provided link.

And to add more thought onto this.... please include either an access door or an access window to periodically check the condition of the filter. Of course each has its pros and cons, a door could be made of the same material as the housing but needs a nice piece of rubber and a clasp to seal it, the window could be polycarbonate or something and may get dirty/cloudy since it's before the filtered air, but slimmer chance of leakage. I really do like the idea though.... I just imagined where some improvement could be made on that website's version.

IF YOU BUILD IT, THEY WILL COME!!!
