will these tires fit? #559350 01/28/05 12:19 AM

Hey guys!

im new to this board...i am on the TGP board also, but anyway

i have a stock 94 runner with 31x10.50 tires and the 3.0 with 5 speed and 4x4

my question is this.....Can i put 33x10.50 tires on my truck without lifting it?

im assuming i can because they are the same width but only an inch bigger in diameter and i haev at least that much clearance around the tires now. and i do not want to go with 12.50's because i prefer 10.50's...lol and i drive 5k a month or so for work mostly highway but i love to take it off road on weekends and evenings so i want tires that arent too moisy but can get me over more stuff...plus if i go with 33's i get another inch of ground clearance

Sure they will fit - but they will rub! There are some tire shops that will let you test fit tires, check around where you live and see if they will let you do that first.

it shouldn't be too bad

maybe some light trimming

a 1" body lift from roger brown should cure any rubbing you get

i say go for it

If you have original wheels, they fit, but at full articulation/compression, they rub to front mud flaps/inner plastic. Minor trimming and they?ll fit fine! I like them (33x10.50 ATs).

4Runner 3.0 Turbo-Diesel, 2" suspension lift, 33x10.50R15 tires

It's a Toyota, sure they will fit, just remember, as my mechanic used to say, "Anything is possible, it all depends on the thickness of you're wallet."
