Yes, some but I still get a pressure build-up back at the tank if I screw the gas cap down like it is supposed to be. To review, I've installed the electric pump, taking the hoses off the old mechanical pump, did use the fuel pressure regulator before the fuel goes to the carb, and left the small diameter hose on the vent(?) fitting on the old mechanical pump. Under these conditions, if I screw the gas tank cap down (and not leave loose) then pressure builds in the tank. Should I remove that small diameter hose off the mechanical pump and raise it above the level of the fuel tank? BTW when pressure builds in the tank, fuel drips on the pavement from the engine area. I'm open to any ideas.

Sure runs good with the new(used)lower mileage engine.
