I do know that the factory unit is a 10 disc, and the third disc seems to always "die". I just leave it empty and the other 9 cd's read fine...either my own burns or store bought. I DO know that carmax in our area has a guy that works on the changers...mebbe if you have one in your area (Carmax) I would ask the service writer or manager if you can get the phone number to him or her.
