Getting the Wheeling Fever
Both of my front stabilizer bar bushings on my 89 LWB 4wd are shot. I just called NAPA and they don't sell the bushings seperately. Should my next call be to the dealer? Or will some sort of universal bushing fit?

The dealer is probably your best bet - the kits aren't terribly expensive, but be prepared for the dealer to have to order it.

Body Damage is Cool
Are those the connecting links you are talking about for 8 bucks a piece?

...or is it the large bushings toward the midline of the truck? My left one is shot, and I get yuk wobble at around 45 mph often....

its the bushings that connect the sway bar to the control arms (not the large bushings in the center connecting the sway bar to the frame). the kits come with new hardware, too.

mine rattle around, and make for scary driving over pavement seams. I do have a rumbling sound around 55 mph, but I don't think that's related to these bushings.

You can get the bushings in good old red urethane, also, as they seem to be a common size. Of course you need four, and mine cost me a whopping dollar per piece. For my on-road Raider, they seemed to tighten things right up and are wearing well.
