The more I compare the two videos...Id swear you got them backwards as far as Episode 1 and the sequel....Squeel like a PIG!

Seriously, the clunkering as the engine shut down in episode one of Joshman Cometh would indicate serious internal damage. The hard start in the beginning of the sequel...or is that Squeel (?) also would point in that direction which is upward by rightish. But a severly injured engine will idle if properly coaxed. Hell I spit the rings out of the Gen-1 22R-EB and drove it 10 days until the second Compression ring went and I had to drive 30+ miles back to Tacoma on 3 cylinders. No damage done to the cylinder walls...and the truck did great! Maintained highway speed, idled rough...but idled. Of course I had to use twine to tie the dipstick tube and valve cover breather down to keep them from ejecting...but it got me there!
