A week left to go, and already things are starting to get really quiet around hereà
I guess a lot of you must be very busy with your per-Moab preparations.

Yeah even this countdown didn't seem as enthusiastic as prior years.

I'm guessing ZuZoo is going to be a little smaller than the past few years, but that's OK in some ways it makes for a better event.

This is the first year in 5 years I will miss it, which does make me <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

But now I am seriously going to go for Crawloween.

Okay how is this for enthusiasm:

I will be driving through Las Vegas on my way to Moab. I will get to meet a high school friend that I haven't seen in 29 years. She lives in San Jose but will be in Las Vegas that weekend. Yes, I know, I am old. Anyway, she contacted me through classmates.com and we traded a couple emails got our real email and cell numbers to each other and have been talking for a week.

Rikki had dated one of my buddies and I had gotten kind of close to her best friend, Loni, a friend that she is still close with. Anyway the three of us have been talking away on the phone all week.

Anyway, I asked Loni if she wanted to drive out to Las Vegas with me to see Rikki and she has agreed. I will have an interesting trip to start my week in Moab!! We will hang out in Las Vegas till Sunday, I will drop her off at the airport and I will continue on my way!!

Isuzu Content - I will be flat towing the Amigo for the first time. Wish me luck . . . on all counts!

I am looking forward to pre-Moab as much or more than Moab!!

Steve

That's pretty much what I was thinking about, except departure time on Monday. I was planning to leave around 5pm, but I can try if I can get off work early. This year I'll be driving alone, so my wife insists me to leave on Monday and stay somewhere that night instead of driving 11 hrs straight.

I'm leaving friday around 2:00 to beat the outbound boston traffic and flying by the seat of my pants from there.

Flying sponsored by NoDoz, and Mt. Dew
