This year I'll be driving alone, so my wife insists me to leave on Monday and stay somewhere that night instead of driving 11 hrs straight.

Heh, I generally drive about 15 hours straight just to get to Denver before getting room for the night, but then I'm not married. Even so, I'm sure somebody will beat that easily (Chris P.?).

Have fun Eiji, sorry I won't be there this year.

11 hrs, straight.

Eiji, you have a heavy foot and a V6. It takes me 15 hours with only gas stops.

Jeez I'm an hour south of Eiji and I've made it in 11 hours by myself! Eiji, you're driving too slow!

Same plan, one day earlier. We plan on leaving early afternoon Sunday and driving to Mesquite for the night. Leave there on Monday morning and drive to Moab by afternoon. Does that about sum it up Arna? (oh we're caravaning with Ms. Speedracer.... 11 hours? I'm in!)

98 4wd Amigo with 3" lift, 32"Swamper SX's, MM winch, custom rock sliders, a Swordy/Marshall/Stinky special custom winch bumper (thanks guys), and a very cool 01 VX that I get to drive every now and then.

That's the plan, if I can get 40 hours of work done in the next two days (feels like tax season never ended), do laundry and get packed. Got my oil changed last nite, so truck is good to go.

6 days till the event
3 days to leave YIKES!!!

Thank you Smiley. Since I'm a Cake Decorator/Bakery Manager by trade I'll be making a birthday wish on ice cream. I'll
make sure it's for parts and a safe trip.

Arna, I totally understand. Laundry, oil change, few more mods, and only today for a day off. I've been working 60+ hours a week (which made it real difficult to find a replacement manager for when I'm gone). The feather in my cap was that they had to get 2 people to replace me . I'm scheduled to work 5am-2am (dang it anyway I wrote the darn schedule 2 weeks ago) on Sunday, but I'm going to try and either get out of it all together, or just put in 3-4 hours. One way or another, we'll be able to roll out of here no later than 1pm.

Okay, anyone who's interested, I'm meeting Gilbert at I-15 & I-10 at 2:00pm, meeting up with Deby & Andy at I-15 & I-210 shortly thereafter. We're going to spend the nite in Mesquite and leave for Moab early Monday morning. Looking forward to seeing all of you soon!

But Steve is going by way of Vegas and his long lost past.
