NY, I will try this just for the heck of it. I'm betting that the trailer lights will work fine that way, but I can't keep yanking bulbs and sticking them back in every time I need to tow something. I guess a last resort would be to disable the turn signal elements in the tail lights when I'm towing, but that is going to create a safty issue almost as much as taking the bulb out. Will use this in a troubleshooting thing though.
