YOU HAVE THE WRONG FLASHER MODUAL!!

Everything you are saying is pointing to an over currenting flasher module. Get a proper hazard flasher or a true HD flasher (hazard flasher in disguise). You can keep pulling bulbs and rewiring.. ETC until you turn into an old gray haired man, the problem is current. Why do you think it worked normally when you pulled the bulbs?
