I was alot more work than we thought to open up the valve seats to install EB's dual valve springs and titanium retainers and the wrong locks were sent. After a few pics/emails back and forth, we figured the stock locks fit fine and put it back together.
Got everything back together, more power than ever! Runs great except for the whole no powersteering. Burns thought the gears nicely. I really can't belive I'm driving a 4x4 much less a 4cyl... Just ask ZUK... I took him for a ride a few weeks ago.
I'm really thinking of selling it. I can't keep up with this crap anymore. It's prolly the fatigue talking but if someone showed up with 3k for it, I'd take it in a heartbeat. I don't drive it anymore because of the company car. I'd prolly hate myself forever letting this thing go but who knows.

Hey, sorry about the locks but I learned something. When I had the Titanium spring retainers made to fit the domestic size spring and the metric valve stem, I wanted them to grip locate instead of float locate, so I had the locks made too.
*Now what I never did was check to see if the stock valve locks would work, I must be slipping (can't be, I am only 61..*or is it 62?..I forget..)
Anyway, I got to the shop today, yep, still sick but...Guess what? The stock valve locks are a perfect fit!
*LOL**..Now I feel silly, I spent good money to have a part made that I already had almost identical on my shelf....Only difference is the factory valve lock lets the valve float at the keeper slightly, my own design grips and only the spring itself forces rotation.
*Interesting...*nuther option to confuse the issue....*EB
