All i know about gas is this. I used to get gas before i went to swim in the mornings at 4:30. Took about a month and a half and my carb fauled up. Since then its at lunch time at a busy place and i aint had no problems since. I know it could have been the filter but hey i dont really care. Im superstitious. All i know is this. With that carbed 258 in city i get depending upon how heavy my foot is that tank from 13-15 mpg and highway i get 16-19. I cant really complain for an old beast with a carb.
