Are there any smaller fluid reseviors that will fit a 2000 MS washer pump? From a Montero or any other Mitsu vehicle?
I had a custom winch bumper made and the huge stock unit on the 2000 Montero Sport will not fit in the new arrangement. I need a much smaller resevior, or modification ideas.
Any input is appreciated. I have exhausted the search function. LOL.
Thanks, 2000ute.

Not to my knowledge. What about a careful hunt through your local pick n pull? Armed with the measurements, you ought to be able to find a suitable replacement. Not sure about the GenII, but the genI reservoir is a behemouth as well...

I need to find out the specs on the motor and see if other Mitsu vehicles use the same motor, I suppose. Anyways, thanks for the input. I will keep on searching other BB, do some part number searches and hit up my local pick and pulls.

Has no one ever attempted this type of mod/relocation? Am I missing something, or does it look like 16 minutes had past since this and the initial post? Welcome to the board, but give people a chance.

Try and locate Matt, NJSport. He did this modification to fit his arb winch bumper onto his montero sport. He no longer has the truck, but if you can find him he is the guy to ask.
Tell him DougH says hello if you track him down.
