Getting the Wheeling Fever
I finally found a set of tan leather buckets from a 2000 tundra at a nearby junkyard ($150) I had to modify the front brackets to use the existing holes, and drill three new rear holes. They are much more comfortable than the 60/40 bench I replaced.

My old tan 60/40 bench is free, if anyone wants to pick up in VA.

Lucky Dawg!

Man those look good, did you have a bench or buckets before?

I'd like to replace my carpet / floor liner ... but I think I'd have to go get a band new one.

Body Damage is Cool
Nice looking seats... I wonder if the frame & mounting points are the same as T buckets... Hmmmm, me thinks a trip to the pick n' pull may be in order.

Spot,
He had a bench before. Fwiw, I've seen molded carpet for the T on ebay; IIRC they were relatively inexpensive... Thought about swapping mine out for black.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
The seats were already pulled and sitting in a warehouse. I was so excited, I forgot to ask about the console. There is still at least a foot between the seats, so I'll look around for a tan one that will fit. Without the console, it makes it easy for my toddler to get back and forth to his rear/center car seat without flipping the seats. (The Tundra seats were from a 4 door and don't have as much access to the back as the T seats did.)

I would assume that the bench and bucket T100 mounts are the same, based on my bench. The Tundra seat mounts are very similar, but the footprint is a couple of inches wider and longer. Besides moving some of the mounts, the passenger seat also requires a one inch shim on the front left to make the seat level. You have to remove the T100 seatbelts to get the seats to fit. The Tundra seats have the buckles in the seat that work with the other end of the T's belt anyway. The Tundra seats seem to sit 1-2" higher than my 130,000 mile stock bench.

Definitely take pics of the mounts! This is a VERY cool mod.

Also - check out the center consoles from the Tundra as well. The one in the '03 I owned was very nice.

I'm not sure if yours are power or not, but the same seats in my (former) '03 limited were power for the driver. Are these the same? If so, any plans to hook them up?

For $150, those were definitely a steal! I've seen them going on eBay for $250-$300+ They look brand new. Was there a salvageable 4.7 too? Mmmmm... V8 T100....

Out of all the cool stuff you've done to your truck, (and it is one of my favorite T100's out there), this may wind up being your favorite mod. I'm sure your kidneys will be thanking you soon!

When my motor dies I am putting in the 4.7. Should be fun.
