I got it all done tonight. Both axles strip down.
Here is my little helper.

Here are them heavy <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/butwiggle.gif" alt="" /> brake drums.

Now here are a few ??? for you. Should I cut off all the shock mounts on these axles? They are not going to be in the same place are they? In the picture with the drums, I need to keep the hubs. How do I get the hubs off the drums? I know that they are held on with the wheel lugs. Do I just knuck the lugs though and just buy new lugs?

I used the tech from pirate on the tear down of the dana 60. I don't know how in the world that guy pried the lower cap off with a screw driver but I had to beat the heck out of it with a BFH and a chissle. that is what took the longest time tonight. But I won.lol
