how are you doing the shocks? do you plan on using the stock uppers mounts on the frame? or are you going to angle the shocks inboard? in any case, you're probably not going to use the lower mounts exactly where they are, i'd say you're pretty safe chopping those off now while you're cleaning up the axle.
Nope nothing stock left on the frame. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/evil.gif" alt="" /> I thought that was going to be your answer but just wanted to double check. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
yes, they are held on by the lugs. you'll want to knock those out. you should be able to do so without damaging the lugs so you can reuse them. if you don't have a press, just start a nut on there and hammer on that so you don't damage the threads. even after the lugs are out, due to the amount of rust, it still may take some effort to seperate the drum/hub.
Yes that is what I thought. Now my only problem I see here is that the lug nuts go on tight, so in order to get the lugs flush to smack them through I nead to use the lug wrinch. How am I going to get the lug nut off afer they pop down? They are just going to spin around. I guess I could try one and just put a pair of vise gripes on the back side.
Billvista also has a 14bff Bible as well...
got all the stuff on the 14 bolt and they 60 printed out and put into folders with the little plastice pages in them.
( so i can get my greasey <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/butwiggle.gif" alt="" /> figures all over them and still be able to read them) <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
