Nice draft Paddler, but I think you're missing the end quote on your second quotation (the pg 88-89 one) from their mag.

Agreed, very nice. A couple of typo's and misspelled words and misused words as well as the missing end-quote... But I won't bust your balls with the details unless you want me to. Damn editors, they just can't leave things well enough alone.

Yeah, and by the way, if anyone else wants to write a letter to the editors, don't worry, I won't rip 'em apart if you post 'em in this thread, I promise.

I wasn't trying to bust anyone's balls. I just thought that since it was a draft and you plan on sending it to a magazine, any input would be good input... especially if you want them to take you seriously.

Dude, it's hillbonics Afterall, I do originate from dem der hills of SWPA. You just have to understand the rules; you can use "two" in replace of "too" or "to so long as you spell it correctly. O'ya I do still warsh my truck as well. Now, back on topic, let's go folks they should be so overwelmed with responses that an Isuzu makes the front cover!!!!!!! Let's get cracking with those letters and photo's. O'ya keep mentioning ZuZoo in your letters and maybe by some miracle they'll actually show up.

Hey and quit busting my balls.

Ok, I sent them a letter also. Just don't beat me up too bad.

Here is a copy.

Dear, Mr. PÚwÚ
I wanted to contact you to let you know how much I appreciate your magazine. I have been a regular subscriber of 4 Wheel and Off-Road since around 1988. As you know, there are other magazines out there that feature 4 wheel drives, but yours has been the more rounded editorial available. Featuring more than Ford, Chevy, Dodge, and Jeeps. In the past, I knew that I could open the newest copy I received and there would definitely be a feature of an old Scout or a Landcruiser. But over the years, that has been changing. Now it seems that if it isn't one of your favorite vehicles, then it isn't wheelable. I certainly hope that this isn't true. I am part of an off road group that gather online daily and several times a year in person. This group is the Isuzu section of the 4x4wire.com. We chat daily about issues other Isuzu enthusiasts have and we have 4 wheeling trips that occur about the same time every year. Once in Moab, and twice a year at Wharrie, NC.
If people would only give the Isuzu a chance to shine. I know that they would be impressed. Everyone says that an Isuzu isn't a capable off road vehicle unless you cut off everything made by Isuzu. But this isn't the case. Isuzu builds a better product than Jeep ever has. Isuzu build big heavy duty trucks and that happens to run over into their passenger vehicles as well. They build components for these vehicles that are heavier duty than they really need to be. Like the 12 bolt rear differential in my Trooper is heavier and stronger than any Dana 44 will be. There are a few things that are not real likable about Isuzu, but they are easily overcome. My Trooper is currently having a Dana 44 front built and will be installed this spring. The IFS is our only limitation. We have companies that build 5.38 ring and pinion gears, 3.07 T-case gears, selectable lockers, automatic lockers, snorkel kits, winch bumpers, and most anything else we could ever need. And if there isn't anyone that sells it. Then we use our own ingenuity to make it ourselves.
I would love to have your magazine attend one of our gatherings just to see what we are all talking about. It is time that we start seeing more Isuzu's featured and less cookie cutter vehicles. Anyone can buy a Jeep, but not everyone can build an Isuzu!
I have also attached a few photographs of my 92 Trooper.
Thank you for your time,
Charles Kimbrough

Trooper has been sold!
