Has anyone tried the 1" Lift Progressive Rate Springs that Performance Products sells?

I'd like to get just a little bit of lift and an improved ride (stockers seem a little soft)... I was considering those springs with the Bilstein shocks. BTW - my 4Runner is usually on the street, but I love to get out into the wilderness on occassion for camping and hiking by way of moderate 4WD trails.

Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!

I've had them awhile. I got them because Downey was backordered. I truely don't remember what stock feels like, but the ride now is ok IMO. It cured the rearend sag.

If you carry a lot of weight when you camp you may want to go with Downey HD. PP tend to sag a bit when loaded down.

Never mind.....I didn't realize you had a 3rd Gen...
