it shows how to replace the lock cylinder, but that's it.

but i'm not sure if you could get one that matched your other lock and ignition...i guess you could.

anyway, if the problem is happening with a copied key as opposed to an original toyota key, the problem could be key rather than the lock.

i've had several copies made...most of them don't work very well or at all in the doors (even though they do work in the ignition).

one key, in particular, worked in one door and not the other. i ground the teeth on that key down a little bit (basically simualted a lot of wear) and got it to work in both doors.
