The 2001 doesn't have this module. To disable the DRLs I had to clip a wire under the dash. I also installed a switch in case I change my mind. Even with the switch off, I was having these weird problems. I removed the switch and re-wired the DRLs to see if that would solve it, but it didn't.

Fortunately, the lights mysteriously started working again yesterday so I'm not gonna worry about it right now. The DRL relay is under the dash and runs about $200, so I hope the problem doesn't come back.
