Wing windows were more of an SR5 thing; both my 83 and my 87 have them.

Yep, you might have yourself a little summer project. Might swing by a good body shop and get a pointer or two.

Patience is a good thing. I think POR-15 in that area might be worth considering, albiet spendy.

Never heard of them in a 2nd gen 4Runner.

My 88 has them though. I like to refer to them as "crotch coolers"

Roll Me Over
Vent windows were an (odd) option in the first couple of years of the Gen2 4Runners and an option for all years of Gen3 pickups.

I have two rust free VENT WINDOW doors (black) with glass but no mechanisms sitting in storage that I pulled from an 89 x-cab. The doors are the same as the 4Runner...

I'd love to sell them, but getting them to AZ might be tough?

Mudrunner
well, guys, after grinding at the rust we found that it isn't that bad at all!
unfortunatly there's more to grind on in the door jam. Our runner is a salvage. The previous owners got it stuck in a creekbed (this is what I was told though) Sounds like something I would do! lol
If anyone has carfax, here's the vin JT3VN39W5L0028269 those are zero's not o's btw.
I would appreciate a report if anyone could do this, I know, I'm cheap!

The body is in really good shape though.
bought it for $1500 from Jeff's boss that got tired of him showing up late for work! so I took it from him hee hee my bad!
But seriously, It uses way too much gas for him to drive it to Chandler and back to Phx everyday!
