I have the belts I took off when I replaced them last. Should be good enough to get me to a parts store. Brake fluid is a great idea.

Thanks to everyone for the input. I will definitely be doing some shopping--flares, brake fluid, etc.--before I go. I'll keep a log and post a trip report when it's all over.
