I think there are very few vehicles that you could get a LSD as an option

No 4wd Isuzu came with a front LSD.

although, (just to fuel the fire ), you could pull one out of an Impulse w/ lotus supension... good luck finding one tho

1996 Isuzu Trooper LS, 33" BFG KMs, ARB Bullbar, OME 919's + 2.5" Daystar Spacers, RS5000's (Nissan Patrol's in the rear), DOR Bumpstops, K&N cone, Aisin manuals, factory LSD. oh, and a ton of N.E. rust

Try skipping the additive when you do a gear oil change, you will get much more grip from it. I did this in my old Rodeo, Xterra, and now my Monty. But then my other rig is spooled in the rear so a chattery LSD doesn't even register on my irritation scale.

Body Damage is Cool
Hate to add fuel to a some what of a dwindling fire but,
You do not need to have a G80 code or a LSD lube tag to have an LSD

I picked up what I thought(and hoped) was an open
rearend out of a 99 Passport.....no G80,no LSD lube tag.
It had low mileage and appeared to have never had the cover off...........I was very when i took it apart to find an LSD.

(oh' and yes I was looking for what appears to be the rare
open carrier for 98+........so I was upset when this turned out to be LSD)

There was no evidence thet cover, bolts etc had been messed with........it did have the 4.10 gear ratio tag, just no
indication of LSD.

Just thought I'd bring this up.

It must have been a late friday or early monday when the diff cover was installed at the factory

We all know how inconsistant Isuzu is between years, parts, etc (since they just use stuff until it runs out). Heck, if I was more of a conspiracy theorist..... I'd almost say they're trying to mess with our heads
