FYI, it's a Trak-Loc LSD, same as used in Jeeps. They do tend to have a useable life expectancy in the 60k range or so... But you can drop a No-Slip locker in there for about $300 or so, very effective.

Sometimes the Trak-Loc needs a little coercing, like a few clicks on the parking brake, to get it to engage, especially when they get older. Try that and see if it does the trick... Of course, it might just be that all the clutch packs are getting worn down...
