If you're the winner, it's well worth the $5 investment. Just remember, there's going to be 999 losers. I guess the odds are a lot better than the lottery, though.

Spend the five bucks. It'll help a charity and may win you a thousand dollar winch. As for if it's a good winch... It all depends on how you're going to use it. Decent line speed, more pull than you'll typically need with a Jeep, but everyone is getting into the whole bigger is better mode again. The solenoid pack is divorced or non-integrated to the spool housing so mounting it is up to you, i.e. you can lay it flat, hide it, or mount it the way you see it in most photos. and it has an average cable length. Warn is the second oldest that I know of as far as manufacturers go and have a good warranty. Unless you plan on using it to lift (hoist) or mount in some nonrecommended method, do it.

What charity??? I think this guy may be helping himself. If he sells 1000 tickets at $5 and the winch only cost $900... I may start this kinda deal myself.

Cheers,

I was thinking the same thing! Sounds to me like he's raising funds to remodel his new house

I found this on the bottom of one of the links web pages: "Designed by RAGE"

I hate to harp on it but I don't think this advertisement should be aloud here! And I realize i keep bringing it to the top, but it erks me. Is this whole gambling thing even legal?

1 post and he starts with HIS very own raffle? It's probably not legal.
