There had been some posts in the past on this forum about adding intermittent wipers to a truck that didn't come with them. I just wanted to reconfirm that all of the wiring for wipers is the same in Tacomas with or without intermittent wipers, and that the control for int wipers is in the switch itself.

I found an int wiper switch from a 96 or 98 Taco for $30 and popped it in yesterday. It was a direct swap and works perfectly. I also like that the wipers come on when you spray windshield washer fluid.

This may seem trivial to some, but not having them drove me nuts! We get a lot of snow in the winter and a healthy amount of rain, so now I am happy. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cyclops.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rodent.gif" alt="" />
