nope i know what you mean. I bought a 05 base model for 19,400 and i got a 2 speed wiper also. Drives me nuts too. I will call the dealer tomorrow and see what they want for one of these. Great post! i was just wondering this today ( as i drove in the rain)

Reference your post; are you saying I can buy the Intermittent switch for my '06, and plug it right in? If so, what does "plug in" mean?

plug and play means he did not have to modify anything major. you will most likely need to remove so parts from the steering wheel area.
