Well, sorry it took so long to get back. To answer the question about the ATF, it was antifreeze, the extended life which is a different color. I "used" to be hip on cars/trucks but haven't done my own work to my vehicles in years. Sooooo, I had no idea they would make that color look so close to trans fluid. smile

About the check engine light, I did get the computer read. Of course I left the codes at home I believe they were P0171 and P0172?? That is a close number if not the ones.

I did bring it to a garage because of the leak so I had them check the computer. They gave me all the paper work on what the computer told them to check and he couldn't find anything that was wrong.

Some of the things that were listed had to do with fuel and mass air flow sensor, check oxygen....can't exactly remember. So, they went all through that and reset the computer. I drove it for a day and a half and when I was on the parkway again, going around 75 the light came on again.

The truck doesn't seem to run any different. I am hearing alot about gas caps. Do you think a bad gas cap could be setting this thing off???

I changed the gas cap yesterday but I don't know how to reset the computer on the SUV.
Does anyone know how to do this?? All help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Dan
