Is there anyone who is planning to attend the upcoming ISUZUwharrie Event that owns a Rodeo with a 5-speed, a locker, 3+3 inches of lift, Rancho 9000s, and M/T tires?

::raises hand::

OKà IÆll rephraseà
How about anyone who fits the above criteria that hasnÆt beat on their Rodeo like a stolen mule?

(Sorry Mike û I couldnÆt resist! --- Actually, I look forward to hearing your thoughts.)

Might as well pull the whole spring pack and check all the leaves for cracks. Replace the U-bolts on reassembly -- IMHO, these are best used only once.

Depending on price, I might be getting a set of springs from the local junkyard today --- IÆm hoping that they donÆt think too highly of themà I canÆt afford more than a few fingersà and experience tells me that sometimes they want multiple arms and legs. --- We shall see.

As for the U-bolts û I agree completely.

IMHO, your locker is amplifying whatever *squirm* you have -- and unless you are actually connecting the rear tires together to equalize air pressure, I wonder if they are exactly the same, and that's assuming the tires have identical wear. Have you tried rotating tires to see if there's a different.

Wellà
Tread wear shouldnÆt be a factor, since I still havenÆt worn all of the manufacturing nubs off yet. --- And rotation seems unnecessary as well, given that they barely have 1000-miles on them.

But I'll still keep this in mind - I'm not going to rule anything out as a possibility.

I don't understand why changing the shackle changed the handling... dunno. Try repeating it to see if you can recreate the perceived change.

I donÆt really understand it eitherà but it rode significantly better that way, nonetheless.

Assuming that a buddy of mine is home today, I will be tightening those shackle bolts in a little while, before heading over to the junkyard. --- Hopefully IÆll have more to report about the handling later this evening (and maybe some good news about finding a set of springs too).

(everything that Doug said)

If the problem persists after replacing the springs (assuming that I can get some), IÆll look into the tire measurements very closelyà You never know, right?

Gotta run - Thanks again everyone!

Six Isuzus, so far... still have three of them.
