A 12 bolt? I'm assuming you directed that at me, but my rodeo has the same rear end as yours, unless some sort of mutagenic swamp gas wafted into the factory that day......

So, I take it that the aftermarket sealed bearing types are not as sturdy as the OEM?

If the handling improves as much as smiley's butt-o-meter says it does, this is definitely interesting me. I'm pretty darn picky about handling myself, and would be willing to put some work into it.

I would want to do the work myself, but hearing the words "pressed on" makes my humble garage (and me) quake. Rob G says this is a royal pain to get the seals on right. Does anyone have any tips or tricks? I'm sure that quite a few people have done it, because it seems to be a very common problem with our D44's. Or is this a pandora's box that I don't want to open at any cost?
