I see no difference in modern oil! In fact I strongly suspect it is exactly the same as modern gasoline and it comes from the nearest factory! I would bet money that the QUAKERSTATE nad PENNZOIL in Texas has NEVER seen a yankee state! I betcha it comes out of the gulf just like everything else does! I never see horrer stories about how bad this or that oil is. All I ever see is guys bragging on how good THEIR brand is. In east Tenn I would go with 10W30 of ANY brand of oil and be done with it. I use WalMArt oil in some stuff and whatever is at hand in other stuff. My 04 Chevy truck turns a light on telling me to change the oil.. It does so about every 6500 miles.
