New casting for sure. You'll want to acquaint yourself with Aluminumheadsdotcom, Portland, OR. Lots of happy customers on this forum, from what I've read. Prices are reasonable with core exchange. You can get a bare head or have one set up complete and ready to bolt in - they're glad to work with you either way.
