Does anyone know where this Fan resistor pack is and an easy way to get to it? I have midlow and high speeds only. I assume I will need to go to the dealer for the part.

Any help would be appreciated ?

Pull the drink holder half way out, then pull off the plastic sing that surrounds the holder, stereo, etc. Take out the stereo, remove the knobs on the fan etc. controls, and I think the face then comes off. The fan switch "clips" into place, so you have to work it backwards then out. There is a wiring pigtail on the back of it. I got the replacement at the dealer and don't remember the exact cost, except that it was way overpriced.

Good luck

The resistor pack is mounted to the blower motor housing (passenger's footwell). There are two electrical connectors on the blower motor housing, the resistor pack is one of them.

OK Maybe I misunderstood; When I was having trouble with my fan, the problem was in the switch itself, it having burned out some of the resitors inside. That's what I was referring to above.

i had the same problem with the melted switch, $60 from the dealer. i'm cheap so i just took it apart and made it so that speeds 1 and 4 work.
