Thats why I hate auto transmissions, they are expensive to fix and let you stranded in the middle of nowhere. I had an Isuzu trooper that started to shift erratically, I took it to several transmission shop in a period of three months and nobody could find out what is wrong with the stupid thing but they all wished me good luck, until I fixed it myself. The problem was a bad diode in the transmission controller. I went through hell and back over a 5 cents diode. That is why no more auto for this guy. My manual transmission now has a controller that has worked fairly well so far. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
