The voodoo magik of the ex-wife strikes again!!!!

Friend, as axe said, slow down, take a deep breath.
Appart from the cluch assy itself if the hyrdoliks or the release lever on the gearbox go down the pedal becomes very very smoth, almost without any resistance on the pedal. You say its like it was previous, so lets keep our fingers crossed fo a while.
You say that you can shift some gears in, 4th and fifth. Now combine this together with the reverse if you can put it, and together with the pink kind of noise you have heard, my mind goes to the shift lever that lost its adjystment for some reason ( the noise you heard may be a securing pin that broke), then the adjusting nut was loose and the travel of the lever in now not in accordance with what the gearbox needs.
This had happend to me in my other car, it was shifting to all the right-side gears only.
