So I hadn't driven the '99 SR5 in a few days and the battery was dying (time to get myself an Optima).

It had trouble starting, but that's nothing unusual. What was strange was that it ran fine in reverse, backing out of the garage. But when i put it in drive, I revved the engine to 1750 or so and it didn't move... I think the tranny was stuck in neutral. It worked fine after running the engine for about 3 minutes... I'm wondering if this had anything to do with the low battery. Evidence points in that direction, but I never knew that the transmission used battery power. Thanks for any comments.
