The rear axle that I have is a Dana 44 but it only measures 53 inches from backing plate to backing plate. It would and could work for the back but I am looking for a set with the same gear ratio's so that I can hold off on an expensive gear job. I also am looking at a 1978 wagoneer for 500 bones...but space in san Francisco is pretty limited and I'm not sure if I would be able to donate it to a charity with no axles. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shiner.gif" alt="" />
