I started having that problem soon after installing AAL's then came the spring perch axle cracks.
I had the axle cracks welded and installed a custom set of Alcans - no more problems

H2O man - My T100 has been stock until now and I have perch cracks at my axle tube. How did you go about welding? Did you take apart the whole rear end? Probably stupid question, but what are Alcans?

Alcan's -- http://www.alcanspring.com/

As for the cracks, I took it to a local shop and had them weld it. Do a search for the details - many T100's have had this little problem.

undo ubolts, and remove shocks and lower shock mount. clean up area really well. move brake line out of the way if you need to and then weld it up.

I welded mine last month. If you gingerly bend the brake line hanger up, you don't have to worry about removing any brake lines. A Dremel and some brake cleaner and an air gun will get it cleaned just fine. No need for major disassembly. LOL

I just bent my brake hanger up about an inch and a half, cleaned the small area I needed to weld, and started welding. It shouldn't be made any harder than that.

Thanks dudes... what kind of welders did you guys use? Mig with the gas tank? I actually ran into an old friend who works at a welding shop, so I'll take it to him most likely, but I was just curious what tools y'all are using. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
