Getting the Wheeling Fever
I know the proper torque on 22r head bolts is 58 ftlbs, but I have also seen publications that say 62. Would that be a bad idea to torque them a little more? I mean I can't even count the number of 22r's I've seen with blown headgaskets lately. I realize they are not that hard to work on, but a blown headgasket in the middle of a snowstorm when you are trying to go duck hunting sucks!

If your insalling a head, Its a good idea to use ARP head studs. With the ARP's I used on my 22r, I went to 92ft-lb. With stock head bolts I run them to 60ft-lb. with a nice coating of Never-Sez.
Always seems to work out well.

Body Damage is Cool
where'd you get the 92lb number? my studs said that with their moly lube, torque them to 80lbs, and with 30wt oil, torque them to something like 120?
