nah, my neiborhood is calm. That one is a few miles away. I was mainly talking about some freinds and there freinds and people that work on your vehicle. Heck, garages around here will take your battery and tell you that you didn't drive in with one. Thats why I like to do everything that I can by myself.

guys, there are honest mechanics in every town, usually, they are the smaller businesses that you drive by with the crappy signs, but for some reason, always have nice hotrods out front. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/zombie.gif" alt="" />

you're right dave... but I'm gonna have to side with Tlab on this one. I haven't found a decent mechanic in my/our area yet. Hell... even the guy I go to for my scrape and stick inspection charges an arm and a leg to do minor stuff.

Edit... and FORGET about any of the stealerships around us. I still firmly believe that they blew up the engine in my 97 on purpose. That's why i had another stealership put in the other engine.

That's funny. My mechanic is perfectly described by Dave's description. Complete with the crappy sign and nice hot rods. The out side doesn't look like much, but the inside's nice and the guys there are great. They're constantly going out on a limb for me. They're been my dad's choice for over 20 yrs.
