Hey all,

Havent got much accomplished this winter..too cold <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/baby.gif" alt="" />

But, I am currently installing the Hella triple air horns <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/mrt.gif" alt="" />

Does anyone know which way Mitsu wires the old horns:
a) Power to + when needed, always grounded.

or

b) + is always hot, beeping caused by grounding connection.

Thanks !

I'm not certain, but I believe it beeps when grounded, because I had to disconnect mine when it wouldn't shut up. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif" alt="" />

Horns are supplied power by the ignition switch and grounded by the column switch.

Allways hot... beeps when grounded. It is grounded through the horn button. There is a spring loaded contact in the steering column the makes the connection from the horn button to the chasis. Any horn that is grounded through the case is going to give you a big head ache lol.
