Most OBD-II readers I've seen start at about $100. The codes are standardized across all vehicle makes. But the protocols for pulling the codes from the ECM's are not. If a code reader says "universal" it has all the protocols built in and it will work across all makes. This reader doesn't state that. 1998 Sportage - Gone. 2004 Honda Civic Coupe. 2007 Suzuki Grand Vitara - She got it.
