I just got my Trooper back on the road last night. It has been down for a couple of weeks with a bad clutch slave cyl.
And I noticed that the charging needle jumps when I come to a stop. It drops down below 12 volts for a second and then comes back up to where it should be. I put a tester on the battery and it shows that it is charging 13.9volts with the lights off. And 13.2 volts with the lights on. Do I have a problem? Or is this normal? I was thinking that it should be charging 14.2 volts all the time.
Thanks,
Charles
