I was hoping it was a place we could buy new spares - but as long as it works, no matter whether it's new or used to me - those things seem to work for either 10 seconds or 15 years. At that price it's good to have a spare - if for nothing else - troubleshooting.

If your truck is the same as mine, you still have an LC filter and a capacitor on the coil assembly (backside underneath. I suppose either one could cause a problem but I haven't dealt with either.
