I haven't heard of that, but I have used a product called KW Block Seal. It worked pretty good, I drove the car at least a year after that.

As I remember, the directions called for the cooling system to be TOTALLY flushed, ran awile with the Block Seal in and then flushed again. I could watch water spraying out of the head gasket, so I was able to watch as it quit.

I imagine Steel Seal might be similar. The KW stuff was aluminum flakes suspended in some fluid. As to if either of them is good for your engine. I couldn't say, too many variables. Like if you have coolant in your oil. I didn't.
